The Lavender Celebration, an annual celebration of the achievements and contributions of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual and allied graduating students as well as current student leaders, is scheduled from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, in the Student Life Center’s Ballroom A. All students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend.
As part of the Lavender Celebration ceremony, the Office of LGBTQI Life will acknowledge those who serve the LGBTQI+ community with a passion for justice as well as those who demonstrate the courage to exit in solidarity with all members of the LGBTQI+ community. If you or someone you know exhibits these attributes, please fill out a nomination form.
Graduating undergraduate and graduate students also may fill out a form to be recognized during the ceremony
A full dinner will be provided, and business casual attire is suggested but not required.
