The Embedded Psyche: The Anthropocene, Postgenomics and the Microbiome– Margaret Lock, the Marjorie Bronfman Professor Emerita in Social Studies of Medicine at McGill University, delivered het keynote lecture on Friday, March 17 for the conference organized by Medicine Health and Society, entitled “The Global Psyche: Experiments in Ethics, Politics and Technoscience.” The Title of her talk was “The Embedded Psyche: The Anthropocene, Postgenomics and the Microbiome” and Beth Conklin, associate professor and chair of the Department of Anthropology, served as discussant. The talk was chaired by Assistant Professor Kenneth MacLeish of Medicine, Health and Society, Vanderbilt.
