An Evening with Rev. Alexia Salvatierra, a public lecture and conversation hosted by the Faith Matters Network, Scarritt Bennett Center, and Vanderbilt Divinity School. Rev. Jennifer Bailey will speak with Rev. Salvatierra in an interview-style format about her community organizing work around immigrant justice. Alexia is an ELCA Lutheran pastor with over 35 years of experience in community ministry, including church-based service and community development programs, congregational and community organizing, and legislative advocacy. She is a national leader in the New Sanctuary Movement and has devoted her life and ministry to advocating for immigrant justice. Join us to hear about her reflections and experiences as a person of Christian faith committed to immigrant justice work.
