CME society honors Moore’s contributions

Don Moore, Ph.D., director of the Division of Continuing Medical Education and Director of Evaluation and Education in the Office of Graduate Medical Education, will be inducted into the inaugural fellowship class of the Society for Academic Continuing Medical Education (SACME) at its Annual Meeting in May.

Moore is being recognized for his landmark contributions to and leadership role in the field of continuing medical education (CME) and continuing professional development (CPD).
According to SACME, the overarching goal of this new fellowship is to create an Academy of preeminent CME/CPD leaders who are nationally and internationally renowned for their innovative contributions to this field.

The class of fellows will serve as a think tank to define megatrends for the future; shape direction of the field of CME/CPD; proactively address a range of national and international imperatives through innovation and creativity; establish a vibrant community of national and international CME/CPD leaders; and provide mentorship to aspiring leaders in the field of CME/CPD.
