Each fall alumni return to campus for Reunion Weekend to reconnect with dear friends and reminisce about their Vanderbilt days. Thanks to the efforts from nearly 650 volunteers who encourage classmates to come back and give back, it is a memorable fun-filled weekend. Jeanne, BA’67, and Jerry Southwood, BA’67, will serve as the co-chairs for Reunion Weekend 2017. As volunteer leaders and donors, they exemplify what is means to be loyal Commodores.
“When we graduated from Vanderbilt almost 50 years ago, we had no idea what an impact our time and education there would have on our lives. Vanderbilt instilled in us a lifelong love of learning and provided skills and confidence that were instrumental in our professional success. As a dividend, we are blessed to have maintained dozens of friendships which have deepened in meaning over the intervening years. It is with deep appreciation that we volunteer our time and donate our resources to Vanderbilt.”
