SECURITY NOTICE: Robbery off campus

On Friday, Oct. 14, at 1:30 p.m., a person not affiliated with Vanderbilt reported to Metropolitan Nashville Police that they were robbed in the driveway between Panera Bread and Starbucks on 21st Avenue South.

Suspect description: The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 5’8″, with shoulder-length brown hair and wearing a jean jacket and black-and-gray gym shorts. He was armed with a handgun and was last seen in a gray vehicle with front bumper damage, possibly a Chevy Malibu.

The vehicle was last seen headed away from campus on 21st Avenue South toward downtown.
