Student Interfaith Council commemorates 15th anniversary of 9/11 at Vanderbilt University

amer_flagThe Interfaith Council, a leadership organization of students dedicated to interfaith relations at Vanderbilt University and in the greater community, will this Sunday lead a commemoration of the 15th anniversary of 9/11.

Students, faculty and staff who are on campus are encouraged to gather at the flag pole on Alumni Lawn or at the flag pole in front of the Dean’s Residence at The Martha Rivers Ingram Commons at 10 a.m Sunday, Sept. 11. The Kirkland Hall chimes will sound and be followed by a short litany of readings from sacred texts—with pauses of respectful silence—to inspire hope, healing and justice.
