Young musicians can join the Blair School’s Nashville Youth Orchestra Program

Auditions for the Blair School of Music’s acclaimed youth orchestra program are scheduled for Aug. 11–20. Students in grades 3–12 will find a challenging and rewarding ensemble in this comprehensive program comprising eight orchestras.

The Curb Youth Symphony draws high school students from three states and is co-sponsored by the Nashville Symphony and Blair School of Music. Philharmonia, a junior and senior high ensemble, performs a rich range of orchestral masterpieces.

Nashville Youth Repertory Orchestra is a full orchestra for junior and senior high students directed by Craig Madole. Auditions will be held Aug. 13 and 20. Audition information is available here.

Younger students flourish in the Youth Strings Orchestra and Reading Orchestra, which are directed by Celeste Tuten. Audition information for these orchestras is available here.
