University faculty and staff will be able to choose Airbnb as a lodging option for expense reimbursement in Concur, effective immediately. Airbnb is a community marketplace for accommodations and has offerings in more than 34,000 cities and 191 countries.
“Our faculty and staff often travel to remote locations with limited hotel choices, or hotels that are a significant distance from their projects,” said Tony Grayson, director of disbursements, travel and payment cards for the university Finance division. “Adding Airbnb will give our university faculty and staff more choices for lodging that will allow them to spend their resources more effectively.”
Travelers will find the Airbnb option in the drop-down lodging menu when creating expense reports. If you have questions, please email concurexpense@vanderbilt.edu.
