The Commodore football team will host its annual Black & Gold spring game on Friday, March 25. Kickoff is at 6 p.m. Admission is free, and no tickets are required to attend.
Prior to the game, a block party will be held on Jess Neely Drive, between Natchez Trace and 25th Avenue South. The event will begin at 3 p.m. and feature fun for the whole family, including live music, a kids’ zone, food trucks, a tailgate area and more.
Some of the food trucks anticipated to attend are Confeastador, Bacon Nation, Bradley’s Curbside Creamery, Crankee’s Pizza and Dan’s Gourmet Mac & Cheese.
Free posters for the 2016 season will be distributed to fans entering Vanderbilt Stadium at Gate 2. Following the game, a brief autograph session with Commodore players will be held on Dudley Field.
