Reunion is the single-largest gathering of alumni on campus. The October weekend connects
dear friends with each other and the university, reminding them why they are Vanderbilt for Life.
During Reunion 2015:
- 10 classes were honored (2010, 2005, 2000, 1995, 1990, 1985, 1980, 1975, 1970, 1965)
- 643 volunteers reached out toclassmates, encouraging themto attend and to make a gift
in honor of their Reunion - 87% of volunteers and 28.2% of Reunion alumni gave back
- 4,284 donors gave $19.5 million to strengthen their school or other area of Vanderbilt important to them
4,848 alumni and guests attended at least one of 152 events, including:
- The Young Alumni Homecoming Party, which attracted 200 alumni from the Classes of 2011–15
- 23 Mini Reunions of alumni with shared interests, such as Alternative Spring Break, the Association of Vanderbilt Black Alumni, LGBTQI and Greek organizations
- 12 Vanderbilt Law School events (including 10 law school class parties)
- 11 educational programs featuring engaging presentations from Vanderbilt professors, staff and alumni
- 10 Undergraduate Reunion Class Parties
- 7 School of Nursing events, including the fifth-year Reunion of the first DNP class
