The Commodores will host their annual “Jam the Gym” event on Monday, Jan. 25, when the women’s basketball team (13-4) takes on Alabama beginning at 6 p.m. in Memorial Gym.
Fans can purchase $1 tickets to the game by visiting the ticket office at the McGugin Center in advance or at the ticket window on the evening of the game. (Purchasing tickets online or over the phone will add additional fees).
In addition, hot dogs will be on sale during the game for only $1.
The game also will feature a special halftime performance by The Beale Street Flippers, a gymnastics/tumbling ensemble. See them in action here.
The Jan. 25 game has been designated as Vanderbilt’s annual “We Back Pat” event. The “We Back Pat” campaign, named in honor of former Tennessee coach Pat Summitt, is a weeklong initiative focused on building support for The Pat Summitt Foundation and the fight against Alzheimer’s disease.
