Service and research achievement was recognized recently during the annual Diabetes Day sponsored by the Vanderbilt Diabetes Research and Training Center and the Vanderbilt Center for Diabetes Translation Research.

Service and research achievement was recognized recently during the annual Diabetes Day sponsored by the Vanderbilt Diabetes Research and Training Center and the Vanderbilt Center for Diabetes Translation Research. Among those honored were, from left, Jennifer Skelton, M.S., managing co-director of the Transgenic Mouse/ES Cell Shared Resource, winner of the Robert K. Hall Service Award; Justin Gregory, M.D., instructor, Pediatric Endocrinology, winner of the Oscar B. Crofford Scholar in Diabetes Award; Megan Capozzi, graduate student in the Department of Molecular Physiology and Biophysics, recipient of the Vanderbilt Scholar in Diabetes Award; and Rachel Henry-Bonami, Ph.D., postdoctoral fellow in the Division of Rheumatology & Immunology, recipient of the Daryl K. Granner Scholar in Diabetes Award.
