Before Vanderbilt football’s home opener each year, first-year students gather for a tailgate and then take off running across Vanderbilt Stadium for the annual Anchor Dash. This year Chancellor Nicholas S. Zeppos, Provost Susan Wente, and team mascot Mr. C joined members of the Class of 2019 in their rite of passage.
