Brent Tener, director of Vanderbilt’s Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships, will be available on Twitter Tuesday, Oct. 20, at 4 p.m. (CDT) to answer questions about college financial aid.
At the #AskVU Twitter Q&A, Tener and a team from the financial aid office will answer questions from high school students, parents, guidance counselors and others interested in learning more about financial aid and scholarships. The session is not intended to be Vanderbilt-specific; questions about how the financial aid process works in general are welcome.
John Gaines, director of Vanderbilt’s Office of Undergraduate Admissions, answered questions about the college admissions process at an Oct. 13 #AskVU session; read a wrap-up on the Get Social website.
Questions can be tweeted in advance or live during the event by using the hashtag #AskVU. The Q&A can be read live on Oct. 20 by following @VanderbiltU and it will be archived on the Get Social website.
The financial aid Q&A is the fifth in Vanderbilt’s Twitter series #AskVU, in which Vanderbilt experts on a variety of topics are available to answer questions from the public via Vanderbilt’s Twitter account.
