A time of remembrance and celebration for student Terence Patrick Dugan Jr. is scheduled for 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, in the Student Life Center ballroom.
Dugan died July 27. He was a senior in the College of Arts and Science double-majoring in anthropology and philosophy and a member of the Gamma Chapter of Delta Kappa Epsilon, for which he also had served as an officer.
He was active in The Afterschool Program of Nashville, known as TAP, a mentoring program for North Nashville youth that is popular with Vanderbilt undergraduates. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers or any tangible expressions of sympathy, donations be made to “TAP for Pat,” which has an endowment goal of $10,000.
