Nashville Chalk Fest will close Hillsboro Village streets near campus

Nashville Chalk Fest, a free two-day street festival benefiting the Vanderbilt Bill Wilkerson Center’s Department of Hearing and Speech Sciences, is scheduled for April 11-12. The festival will feature chalk artists, live entertainment, food trucks, a children’s zone, face painting, balloon art and more.

The event will close several streets in Hillsboro Village from Friday, April 10, at 9 a.m. through Sunday, April 12, at midnight.

The closures include 24th Avenue South between Acklen Avenue and the alley just before Blakemore Avenue, and Belcourt Avenue between BookPage (located at 2143 Belcourt Ave.) and 24th Avenue South.

Access to the Vanderbilt “S” parking lot will be available from the alley on 24th Avenue South.
