International Lens to feature film directed by VU alumna

Vanderbilt’s International Lens film series will screen Moved on Saturday, March 14, at Sarratt Cinema, with an introduction by Professor of English Sam Girgus. The event begins at 7:30 p.m.

Filmed in one take, Moved is a dark breakup comedy about a woman seeking closure as she moves out of a shared apartment. The work was written and directed by Julie Sharbutt, a 2003 Vanderbilt graduate, who also stars.

Moved was funded via and premiered at the 2013 Big Apple Film Festival.
