Burn Center Uses Video Game Therapy for Pediatric Patients

Photo of boy playing a video gameThe Vanderbilt Burn Center recently began using a Wii video game console as part of therapy for some patients, particularly pediatric patients who are having difficulty regaining mobility after suffering burn injuries. Here, 8-year-old Gavin Chitwood and therapist Trae Williams give the device a workout. The Wii was a gift from the Chattanooga Firefighter’s Association.
