De-stress with yoga on the lawn

The Vanderbilt Recreation and Wellness Center will present “De-stress with Yoga on the Lawn” on Thursday, Oct. 16, from noon to 12:45 p.m.

Join Lori Cowan, a VRWC group fitness coordinator, for a 45-minute outdoor yoga class at the grassy area between Light Hall and the Veterans Administration Hospital. The class will allow you to rejuvenate and de-stress while providing the opportunity to enjoy exercise in the cooler October weather.

Class equipment will be provided. Wear comfortable clothing, and come for part or all of the class.

Cowan is a certified yoga instructor with more than 20 years of teaching and management in the group fitness industry.
