Bettie Page, BA’44, America’s favorite pinup queen, is featured in a recent documentary by Music Box Films and Academy Award–nominated director Mark Mori. Made with Page’s authorization but completed after her death at age 85 in 2008, Bettie Page Reveals All is an intimate—pun intended—look at the Nashville native and Peabody College alumna. In it viewers hear the pop icon’s voice detailing life following her disappearance from modeling in 1957 after a U.S. Senate obscenity investigation led by Tennessee Sen. Estes Kefauver. The film was screened locally in December at the Belcourt Theatre near campus in Hillsboro Village.
