The Meharry-Vanderbilt Community Engaged Research Core will host a “Community Scholars Information Session” Thursday, March 6, from noon to 1:15 p.m. at the Meharry Vanderbilt Alliance, 1005 Dr. D.B. Todd Blvd., Nashville.
The program provides support for two graduate or post-graduate trainees. Each will receive a scholarship of $5,000 to integrate community-engaged research principles and approaches into their studies.
Scholars will be required to perform a community-engaged research project with a community partner during the academic year. They also will participate in the Meharry-Vanderbilt Community Engaged Research Core, which supports the development of community-engaged and community-based research and builds relationships between community and academic partners.
Register for the information session.
