The Vanderbilt Dayani Center for Health and Wellness is offering a Basic Bootcamp Class beginning Jan. 14.
The class is designed to be less intimidating and works on increasing endurance and muscular strength, all while helping you achieve your wellness goals. The class is filled with small bursts of cardio using treadmills, bikes or the track, with strength-training exercises mixed in. Equipment such as free weights, cables, medicine balls, resistance bands and BOSU balance trainers could all be used. All fitness levels are welcome.
Classes will take place on Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m. beginning Jan. 14. The cost for Dayani members is $40 for eight classes, and for non-members $70 for eight classes.
