Vanderbilt University medical researchers are once again part of the nationwide fight to prevent a possible flu pandemic. There’s a new deadly flu strain called H7N9, that started in eastern China. Vanderbilt is one of 9 sites preparing to test a new vaccine to protect people against this new strain.
