Vanderbilt Athletics is hosting a pre-season picnic lunch exclusively for Vanderbilt faculty and staff on Thursday, Aug. 8, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
UPDATE: Due to a forecast of rain, the picnic will take place under the covered concourse at Vanderbilt Stadium. Attendees may enter the stadium at Gate 2, at the corner of Jess Neely Drive and Natchez Trace.
Come enjoy hot dogs, apples and drinks and hear from head football coach James Franklin, who will make an appearance around 11:30 a.m. Pick up posters, schedule cards and shakers for the upcoming season. Barnes & Noble at Vanderbilt will have a presence at the event and will offer special discounts on Vanderbilt merchandise.
Get in the football spirit and share lunch with fellow Dores fans at this fun annual event for faculty and staff.
