Project Opportunity, a 10-month job skills training program for individuals with developmental disabilities, recently celebrated its five new graduates.
The group worked in various departments throughout Vanderbilt University Medical Center and the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.
As interns, they learn a variety of entry-level jobs in health care in hopes of gaining enough experience to apply and obtain positions at Vanderbilt.
So far, the program has assisted 37 graduates in gaining Vanderbilt employment.
