College Halls rises on campus

Construction began in May 2012 on College Halls at the former site of Kissam Quadrangle. The $115 million project will create two large, state-of-the-art residential colleges connected by a light-filled central gathering and dining space. The finished College Halls is scheduled to open in fall 2014. This project, along with the renovation of Alumni Hall (opening summer 2013) and the expansion of the Student Recreation Center (to be completed winter 2014), will dramatically alter Vanderbilt’s landscape and mark a major step forward in transforming undergraduate student life at the university.
