Discounts on ‘Rock of Ages,’ ‘The Columnist’ at TPAC

Take advantage of a special discount for Vanderbilt faculty and staff on two shows at TPAC this spring.

The worldwide party musical Rock of Ages tells the story of a small town girl who meets a big city rocker in LA’s most famous rock club on the Sunset Strip. They fall in love to the greatest songs of the 80’s, from Journey, REO Speed Wagon, Poison, Styx and more. This show contains some mature content that may not be suitable for all audiences.

The offer is valid for the following performances:

  • April 19 at 8 p.m.
  • April 20 at 2 p.m.

David Auburn’s The Columnist, born in Tennessee Rep’s Ingram New Works Festival, paints the portrait of legendary and controversial Joseph Alsop, the most powerful journalist in the country—beloved, feared and courted by the Washington social world at whose center he sat. As the country and the world of journalism moved into a time of dizzying changes and drastic shifts, the intense political drama Alsop was embroiled in became deeply personal as well.

The offer is valid for the following performances:

  • April 23 at 6:30 p.m.
  • April 24 at 6:30 p.m.
  • April 27 at 2:30 p.m.
  • May 2 at 6:30 p.m.
  • May 3 at 7:30 p.m.
  • May 4 at 7:30 p.m.
