A signature piece of art created by renowned American sculptor Mark di Suvero was acquired by Vanderbilt and installed April 30 between the Student Life Center and the E. Bronson Ingram Studio Arts Building. Funding for the piece, Tumbleweed, came from a privately endowed campus beautification fund established in 1981. Tumbleweed joins 71 other public sculptures dotting the campus.
