Watch video of retired four-star Gen. Anthony Zinni – the keynote speaker at the 2012 National Security Symposium at Vanderbilt University. The theme this year was “The Evolving Role of U.S. Military Intervention.”
Zinni, who is retired from the Marines and a former commander in chief of U.S. Central Command, is an instructor at Duke University and author of three books. He has been credited for foresight in predicting the dangers of terrorism coming out of Afghanistan before the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.
