He has recently signed with Dial Press, a division of Penguin, to write three children’s books.

“Books are a passion of mine so I am thrilled to be involved with this event which helps pass the love of reading to young children throughout Middle Tennessee,” Dickey said.

“Books from Birth is a local treasure and it is essential that we continue to support its mission.”Books from Birth is best known for the Imagination Library program, which mails a new book to preschoolers once a month in Davidson, Sumner and Williamson Counties.

Loveless will provide the food and drink, and a silent auction and other fun activities will take

place at this casual and fun fundraiser that supports Books from Birth, a function of the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.
