Renovation continues on Vanderbilt’s football field, with an upgrade to the lighting system the next step in the process. A crane will be used to install new lights on the west side of the field, necessitating the closure of Natchez Trace from Kensington Place to Jess Neely Drive.
Natchez Trace will be closed daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. starting Monday, July 23, through Friday, July 27. Natchez Trace will be closed to vehicle traffic, and the sidewalks will be closed during these times.
Barricades, a flagman and a Metro Police officer will be on site during the closure.
