On Wednesday, June 27, at 12:05 a.m., a neighborhood resident was walking west on Acklen Avenue near 21st Avenue South when he was approached by a black male, who pointed a knife at him and demanded his wallet and money. The man gave him cash from his wallet, and the suspect took the money and told the victim to walk the other way. After taking the money, the suspect fled the area. The victim left the area and reported the robbery to the Metro Nashville Police Department.
Description: The suspect was described as a black male, approximately 5′ 10″, in his 40s, wearing a baseball cap, dark clothing and possibly sunglasses. His direction of escape is unknown.
