Introduction to community-based social marketing for public health April 13

Community Research Partners will meet from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Friday, April 13, for the first in a two-part series discussing social marketing for public health.

The workshop will present an overview of the Community Based Prevention Marketing model, which combines social marketing and community-based participatory research, as well as examples of how it can be applied for developing and testing public health interventions.

The meeting will be held at the Youth Opportunity Center’s Turner Commons Training Center, 1704 Charlotte Ave. The event is sponsored by the Meharry-Vanderbilt-TSU Cancer Partnership.
