VIBE, Vanderbilt’s premiere hip-hop dance team, will present their fifth annual show, “The Next Chapter: Inspiring a Hip-Hop Generation,” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at the Student Life Center Ballroom. The event will benefit the Martha O’Bryan Center.
The 2011 show will take the audience on a journey through time as VIBE explores its vision of “the future of hip-hop.” The show will feature diverse styles of dance and music and performers from a variety of backgrounds. Guest performances include the Momentum Dance Company, VIDA, Vanderbilt Spoken Word and the Thrive Dance Team from the Martha O’Bryan Center.
Tickets are $7.50 each and may be purchased at the Sarratt Student Center box office, online from Ticketmaster and at the door.
