UPDATE: William Spickard, a 14-year-old who went missing on the Vanderbilt campus in the late afternoon on Sept. 25, has been found in good condition in McGugin Center.

The Vanderbilt University Police Department and the Nashville Police Department are searching for a missing boy with Down’s syndrome.
14-year old William Spickard disappeared from the Vanderbilt Student Recreation Center on Childrens Way between 25th Avenue South and Natchez Trace Drive around 4:45 p.m.
He is white and 5 feet tall. He was last seen wearing a white baseball cap, blue t-shirt with the name “Spickard” on the shirt, with a black Vanderbilt t-shirt over the blue shirt.
Police say Spickard’s communication skills are limited. He was at the Rec Center with his father, Dr. Anderson Spickard III, who is a Vanderbilt employee.
