The bridge for walkers over 21st Avenue South at Edgehill Avenue will be closed most of July for maintenance.
The closing begins Saturday, July 9. It is scheduled to reopen Monday, Aug. 1.
Workers will add drainage, replace the concrete surface and do other work on the metal bridge, said Mark Petty, assistant vice chancellor for plant operations.
Traffic on 21st Avenue South should not be affected by the work, Petty said.
