Vanderbilt’s newest dining option, Au Bon Pain, is opening 5 a.m. Tuesday, June 21, in the space formerly occupied by McDonald’s on the Medical Center Plaza.
The new restaurant will feature a wide variety of menu options including a salad bar with more than 30 items, hot grab-and-go entrees, soups, sandwiches, wraps, baked goods, a smoothie bar, breakfast items, healthy snacks and beverages.
Au Bon Pain will open with operating hours of 5 a.m. to midnight, Monday through Friday, and 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., on Saturday and Sunday. The new venue has plans to eventually move to a 24-hour operations schedule.
Au Bon Pain’s temporary kiosk location in the North Lobby of Light Hall will close at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 17, and will not reopen.
