Tennessean columnist Ms. Cheap (Mary Hance), spoke June 15 on “Staycations,” including tips on how to enjoy the summer without spending a lot of money.
The event served as the inaugural event hosted by the new ad hoc committee Community Connections, a grass roots program that seeks to provide all Vanderbilt staff and faculty with opportunities to get acquainted, learn new skills, explore areas of interest and work on personal enrichment.
Community Connections is a joint effort by the University Staff Advisory Council, the Medical Center Staff Advisory Council, and Employee Celebration.
