Zeppos named eighth chancellor of Vanderbilt University
Nicholas S. Zeppos, a distinguished legal scholar, teacher and administrator who has been a vital presence on the Vanderbilt University campus for two decades, was chosen March 1 as the universityâs eighth chancellor, effective immediately. The unanimous election of Zeppos, who has served as Vanderbiltâs chief academic officer since 2002 and its interim chancellor since last summer, was announced at a press conference following the final session of the Board of Trustâs winter meeting.
