The Faculty-Staff Campaign is an opportunity for those of us who work at Vanderbilt to show our financial support to the University.
Last year 32 percent of faculty and staff participated in the campaign, and this year we are reaching for 33 percent participation. With everyone’s help, we are certain to far exceed that goal. Please consider making a contribution to the area of the university or medical center to which you feel most connected.
When asked why she gives, Jaime Vernon from The Vanderbilt Fund Office explains:
“I have a deaf child who can now hear because of the cochlear implant surgery offered through the Department of Otolaryngology; because undergraduate students at the School of Engineering are designing gear that will allow my child to wear her cochlear implants in the pool; because my son has a rare syndrome and the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt performed a surgery that cured him! I give because I am what makes Vanderbilt special… an employee, a patient, a mom. I give because I care.”
Whether you give to undergraduate scholarships or the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, collectively all of our gifts will make a lasting impression.
