Vanderbilt Vice Chancellor David Williams has announced that the Commodores’ postponed women’s basketball game with Florida will now tip off at 5 p.m. Friday in Memorial Gymnasium.
Severe weather had forced the unusual postponement from the planned Thursday evening game and it was first believed that 6 o’clock would be the best time for the reschedule.
“After further discussions with the Southeastern Conference and the University of Florida, taking into consideration all of the travel issues surrounding the final weekend of league play, we decided that the best time to play the game was 5 p.m.,” Williams said.
