A visit to Vanderbilt University by Anderson Sa and Grupo Cultural AfroReggae has been canceled, including a Feb. 25 concert that is part of Vanderbilt ‘s Great Performances series. Great Performances series subscribers may call (615) 343-2160 for refunds, exchanges and other ticket options. Single ticket holders may visit the Ticketmaster outlet from which tickets were purchased for a refund or call (866) 448-7849. Travel complications prevented the group from making the trip to Nashville. Several free community events involving Sa and the group were also canceled, including appearances at the First Amendment Center, The W.O. Smith /Nashville Community School and the Global Education Center. A screening of Favela Rising, a documentary about Sa, will go forward at 7 p.m. Feb. 24 in Sarratt Cinema on campus. The screening is free and open to the public.
