MEDIA ADVISORY: Tennessee gubernatorial candidates visit Vanderbilt class

Kim McMillan, former majority leader in the Tennessee House of Representatives, is the second in a series of Tennessee gubernatorial candidates to address students in Vanderbilt University’s “Introduction to American Government and Politics” class.

The course is taught by Assistant Professor of Political Science Christian Grose. McMillan, who also served as senior adviser to Tennessee Gov. Phil Bredesen, is now on the faculty of Austin Peay State University. McMillan will discuss her candidacy and perspective on campaigning for governor and will answer questions from students.
