Patrick O’Keeffe, winner of the prestigious Story Prize for his novella collection The Hill Road, appeared at Vanderbilt on Feb. 5, 2009, as part of the Gertrude Vanderbilt and Harold S. Vanderbilt Visiting Writers Program at Vanderbilt. He read a selection from a new work tentatively titled The Moon in Cancer. He was introduced by novelist Nancy Reisman, assistant professor of English.
