MEDIA ADVISORY: Vanderbilt University’s Homecoming parade kicks off 10:30 a.m. Oct. 25

Vanderbilt University students will spend the afternoon Friday, Oct. 24, building floats for Saturday morning’s Homecoming parade leading up to the Vanderbilt Commodores football match-up against the Duke Blue Devils on Saturday, Oct. 25, at 2 p.m. central time. The public is invited to attend the parade.

Kensington Place, located off 25th Avenue South on Vanderbilt’s campus.

Homecoming parade
The parade will start on the university’s campus at the corner of 24th Avenue and Kensington Place and travel a route that turns right onto Vanderbilt Place, left onto 25th Avenue, right onto Jess Neely Drive, right onto Natchez Trace and concludes with a right on to Kensington Place.

WHEN: Float building party – Friday, Oct. 24, 2 to 5 p.m.
