Political psychologist and author of Your Money And Your Life: The High Stakes for Women Voters in ’08 and Beyond, Martha Burk, is coming to Vanderbilt Law School to talk about the political issues impacting women. Burk says her ultimate goal is to encourage women to help set the political agenda and question each candidate on these issues. The event is free and open to the public.
Burk is the money editor for Ms. Magazine and co-founder of the Center for Advancement of Public Policy, a research and policy analysis organization in Washington, D.C. She also serves as an adviser to candidates on women’s issues and is the former chair of the National Council of Women’s Organizations in Washington, D.C.
