First-year students will move in to The Commons,
Vanderbilt
University’s new living-learning community on Saturday, Aug. 16, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Commons is on the southeastern part of campus near
Peabody
College. There will be increased traffic in this area because of move-in and the following streets will be closed to through traffic from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Aug. 16:
18th Avenue South between Capers and Edgehill avenues
Horton Avenue between 17th and 18th avenues
19th Avenue from between Edgehill Avenue and Scarritt Place
