Representation, reportage and reality: this Feb. 20 panel discussion by prominent members of the Nashville media addresses the historical and contemporary challenges faced by black journalists.
A brief screening of portions of the documentary, The Black Press: Soldiers Without Swords preceded the discussion. The discussion was co-sponsored by the Nashville Chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists and took place in the Bishop Joseph Johnson Black Cultural Center Auditorium.
