MEDIA ADVISORY: Vanderbilt University students hold presidential caucus Feb. 1

Vanderbilt University students will hold a presidential caucus Friday, Feb. 1, in advance of what has been dubbed “Super Duper Tuesday.” The Democratic caucus begins at 5 p.m. and the Republican caucus at 7 p.m. The caucuses will be held in the Board of Trust Room of the university’s Student Life Center at 310 25th Ave. S. Students organizing the Vanderbilt caucuses traveled to Des Moines earlier this month where they observed the Iowa caucuses, heard from faculty experts and worked for the candidates of their choice as part of a hands-on learning opportunity sponsored by Vanderbilt’s Office of Active Citizenship and Service.
